Why Clients Use Us

After over two decades we remain at the cutting edge of catering consultancy in the UK.  This position has been fostered by staying close to our clients and ensuring we listen carefully to their needs.

Our approach includes the following:

Project Identification

Some of the most valuable consultancy we provide is at the very outset of the relationship with a prospective client – usually before any professional fees are incurred.  We listen and understand the origin of any concerns the client may have.  We then evaluate available information and identify the project scope.  This then allows us to recommend a course of action which will achieve the client’s objective and, of course, explain how we can help.

Working Together

Reasons for employing consultants include reducing the amount of time spent on a project by the client and utilising specialist knowledge.  Invariably we would expect the client to learn from the project, expanding their own knowledge so that they are better able to manage their catering in the future.  We therefore work as closely with our clients as they wish so that they receive maximum long-term benefit from their investment in consultancy.

We also need to work with the caterer, whether they are directly employed or contractors.  We have a professional relationship with contract caterers who respect our ethics and impartiality.  Our experience is that clients gain the maximum benefit from our input where a constructive relationship with the caterer is fostered.

Professional Fees

We always agree our professional fees for the project with our client in advance.  These would be detailed in a proposal prepared following our initial meeting and be based on the amount of time calculated for the project.
