Sun Microsystems

Stern Consultancy were originally appointed to work with Sun to design the catering facilities at their campus in Camberley, Surrey, a project on which we worked with our design partners GWP. As part of this project we also managed a tender exercise to select a caterer to operate the new services.

After providing five years of on-going operational and audit expertise Sun then asked Stern Consultancy to manage the re-tender of the catering services not only for Camberley but for a total of five of their UK and Ireland sites.

This resulted in the efficiencies of a single contract within the UK and retention by the incumbent in Dublin.

Stern have been retained for on-going monitoring of the contract.
